A Keynote Talk by Sylvia Mendez, civil rights activist and Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient, commemorating the 65th Anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education

Before Brown v. Board of Education, Sylvia Mendez and her family challenged school segregation in California and won in Mendez v. Westminster School District, the first case to rule that school segregation itself is unconstitutional and violates the 14th Amendment.
